New Pygmy Goat babies December 4, 2011
On December 4th, a pair of kids came to join the Patriot's Dream Family! Late in the evening, around 11:30, as we were approaching our first hard freeze of the year, Glory kidded these two sweet little ones. The doe, now named Olympia, is the darker of the two. Bailey says she looks more like her sire, Huey. She weighed in at 38 ounces. The little buckling, now named Fly By Night, is more silver like his dam Glory, and weighed in at 35 ounces. It took a little help to get through the four days straight of hard freeze, but all three are doing beautifully!
